The Green Gathering is pleased to be working with Camplight, a workers' cooperative reclaiming discarded tents and fixing them up to hire out!
At the festival, Camplight is an independent campsite within the Green Gathering site.
Camplight rents out tents and camping accessories, all ready and waiting for when you arrive. As their prices suggest, it's not about Glamping or Boutique; it's just a piece of creative common sense that makes your packing, journey and arrival so much easier. Camplight is an independent campsite within the Green Gathering site, so you also become part of a small community.
Camplight loans self-inflating camping mats to tent-hire customers who take public transport, cycle or walk to the festival.
If you think you will travel green, notify Camplight by putting the Green Travel token (a bicycle) in your cart when you book your tent. When you arrive at your tent, show proof of your green journey (eg your muddy bicycle or a train ticket) and if the staff are satisfied they'll produce your free comfy mat!
All tents are salvaged, so each is different.
If you have specific requirements, eg because of access needs, please be sure to discuss these with Camplight in advance.
