Anarchist Politics for the 21st Century

What does an anarchist politics mean and what can it look like in 21st century Britain? In this talk, Shane and Jon will discuss what an anarchist politics is, primarily through the concept of anarchization. Then engaging with contemporary examples of anarchist politics in the UK, it will argue how an anarchist politics can help us build a more inclusive, fair and democratic Britain.

Jon Bigger is an A-Level politics tutor, political commentator for Freedom, the longest active anarchist periodical, and a one-time anarchist election candidate. Shane Little is a historian with two decades of experience organising in anarchist and social movements in the UK and North America. Currently he is a Research Associate at Loughborough University.
